Located on 5th Street downtown, Antone's has been the premier blues club in Austin for over 35 years, and has scheduled legendary musicians like Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, Muddy Waters, and many, many more. The club is all ages, meaning that people of all ages can come and experience a blues club that's been decades in the making, as well as a venue that has made Austin's music scene what it is today.

Antone's was founded by owner and local music celebrity Clifford Antone in 1975, and was built upon Antone's love of the Chicago blues. Its original location was on 6th Street, and became the first club on a stretch of road now known for its many bars and clubs. Antone's became a springboard for regional musicians like Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan, Los Lonely Boys, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and soon attracted blues legends that would sell out tickets each night. Antone's continues to schedule both established and burgeoning blues musicians each night of the week, as well as expose the people of Austin to a unique live blues experience.
